Sticky Brand Announces Launch of New Product Line
The growing Vermont business debuts its “New Normal” line of social distancing decals, and forthcoming rebrand and expansion plans.
BURLINGTON, VT (May 20, 2020) – Sticky Brand – a local Burlington company specializing in custom-made stickers, decals, and design services – today announces the launch of an innovative social distancing product line. With this launch, the company has also pledged to donate 10% of profits from this specific line to the UVM Medical Center’s COVID-19 Response Fund. As the brand itself prepares to reopen its downtown Burlington offices, it will continue to work to help other small businesses safely reopen and adapt to new norms.
Since 2007, the creative group’s commitment to customer service and premium quality products has made it a favorite among other local businesses including Ben & Jerry’s, Zero Gravity and Burton. Today, in the midst of the continuously evolving global crisis, co-owners and founders Nick D’Agostino and Michael Rist have been quick to harness their unique ability to help small businesses adjust to a new normal.
“We’ve been humbled by the opportunity to play a small role in helping other small businesses – that are the fabric of our beloved Burlington community – reopen in the safest way possible in adherence with social distancing guidelines” says co-owner Nick D’Agostino.“We’re hopeful that this new product line can be a useful tool that creates clear visual signals to help keep both employees and customers safe.”
In the early days of the pandemic, the company quickly responded to an urgent need and created floor decals which visually demonstrate how to properly socially distance. Thirty or so businesses were offered these decals free of charge, and the company obtained valuable feedback regarding how they could provide assistance. Since then, decals from the brand’s “New Normal” line have been instrumental to local businesses such as City Market and Lowes in helping with crowd control and CDC guidance.
“Sticky Brand was incredibly responsive and helped us get our message out to customers very quickly,” says Mae Quilty, Assistant Director of Community for City Market. “Their floor stickers are very durable and have held up well against daily wear from grocery carts and floor cleaners. And we’re always happy to work with a local business!”
As the company prepares to re-open its doors, it is also gearing up to announce an expansion plan that was conceived pre-pandemic. Sticky Brand doubled its footprint last year and made significant investment in equipment to support its expansion plans. A rework of its website focused on enhancing the user experience while still providing all the familiar options customers have relied on in the past.
“We’re excited to soon announce a company rebrand and expansion that has been in the works for quite some time now.” says co-owner Nick D’Agostino. “We are cautiously optimistic and excited for our company’s future, and in the meantime, look forward to rebuilding together as a community.”
