Production Assistant – (Full-time)

The primary focus of the Production Assistant is to deliver support to the production team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

- Completion of High School education or equivalent
- Attention to detail related to product quality and machine process quality
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Aptitude for mechanical operation, manufacturing processes, and procedures
- Basic math skills and superb attention to detail and product quality
- Excellent attendance and punctuality - accurately record work time daily
- Interest and ability to grow professionally with support from Sticky Brand
- Positive, going the extra mile, and thinking up better ways to do things all come naturally to you

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production, Packing and Shipping
- Inspecting products to ensure they meet our quality standards and remove defective items
- Packaging and preparing products for shipping to customers
- Drop packages off to carrier
- Operate machines including setup, and daily cleaning
- Maintain a clean, tidy production floor always, i.e., taking out trash daily, sweeping floors daily and mopping weekly or as needed
- Cross-collaboration with other teams and departments
- Maintain a safe workplace by following safety rules, use safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to your supervisor
- Offer ideas for continuous improvement within the manufacturing process
- Assist on any ad-hoc tasks as required by the department

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Duties require standing (except breaks and lunch) throughout working shift
- Able to use a computer, keyboard, phone
- Able to lift 10 lbs. continuously and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. Occasional climbing, stooping, bending, and overhead reaching
- Frequent walking, grasping, gripping, and fine hand manipulation
- Visual acuity at short distances - able to detect variances in orders and cut marks

POSITION SCHEDULE DETAILS
- Full-time in-person/on-site work position: (40 hours/week)
- Location: 66 Bowdoin Street, Burlington, Vermont
- Shift hours: 9.00-5.30 (includes 30-minute break).

Production Internship

We are looking for students with a passion for graphic design, social print production. The student internship program provides a comprehensive view of the work performed by professionals in print production and prepares you for a full-time job as a production manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with customer order fulfillment
- Inspect products to ensure they meet our quality standards
- Packaging and preparing products for shipping to customers
- Operate machines including setup, and daily cleaning
- Cross-collaboration with other teams and departments

QUALIFICATIONS
- Aptitude for mechanical operation, manufacturing processes, and procedures
- Attention to detail related to product quality and machine process quality
- Proficient in Adobe illustrator and Photoshop
- Major in marketing, graphic design or communications preferred
- Strong communication skills required
- Self-motivated
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- Must be detail oriented and organized
